If you have to explain something - the meaning, inside joke, actual joke, or context - it's useless.

Rewrite.

Immediately.

It's hard to do.

I mean... I spent hours writing, editing, tweaking...

Why doesn't this person understand what I'm trying to say?

Well, no. they aren't.

The writing wasn't clear enough.
